A mobiliser is someone who takes action to bring people, resource or support together for a specific cause, project or goal. A mobiliser is involved right from cluster to maintaining it long term. Their primary role is to encourage, motivate, and organize individuals or groups to participate in activities or initiatives that advance a particular agenda or mission.

Mobilizers play a critical role in driving social change, achieving collective goals, and mobilizing resources to address various issues within society. Their efforts are often instrumental in bringing about positive and meaningful change.

Eligibility for a Mobiliser

Mobiliser must be active locally & move around & remain connected with the residents.

Qualification

no bar. Can work independently or as part of a mobiliser team.

Experience

A mobiliser must have proven experience in social sector & mobilizing people for programs.

Asset

Must be of impeccable character, hard worker & comfortable to handle uncertainties. Smartphone, vehicle for local travel.

Earning

There is no remuneration for the efforts & the mobiliser works voluntarily. Intangible benefits of higher value will be evident and may be freely utilised through & outside the SwaN system.

Responsibility & Accountability

The Mobiliser is the one of last resort & has cluster level responsibility. An entrepreneur cluster consists of up to 5 Mentors, 35 entrepreneurs & a minimum of 2 organizations 1 NGO/ Business to support the ecosystem. Any statutory/ govt related facilitation/ support will be provided as needed. A Mobiliser should have the ability to work with senior government elected representatives.
